As there was no submission, Horizon Power has made no changes to the below Revised System Description, which is now published as required under the Pilbara Networks Access Code 2021.

Final Decision – Second Pricing Period Public Consultation
Horizon Power has completed the public consultation process for Second Pricing Period as required under the Pilbara Networks Access Code 2021. Please see below Final Decision. For the Second Pricing Period Consultation, Horizon Power received a submission for the first tranche (see below) and a confidential submission for second tranche on the revised rate of return.

System Description and User Access Guide
The Pilbara Independent System Operator (ISO) is currently developing the ‘Access and Connection Procedure’ (Procedure) as set out under the Pilbara Networks Rules (PNR). The ISO has published the interim Procedure, which outlines ISO’s access and connection process as well as roles and responsibilities of those participating in that process (including information required to be sent to the ISO for assessment and approval). ISO will charge for the costs of performing access and connection related functions and the Applicant will be liable for such ISO costs.
When the final Procedure is finalised and published by ISO, Horizon Power will update the User Access Guide accordingly.

For the Prudent Discount Policy, please note that the current list of locations in the covered Pilbara network where the installation of distributed generating works will enable new facilities investment to be deferred is nil. The following links provide the electrical consulting and electrical contracting industries information regarding all requirements for any connection, of all types of installations, to a Horizon Power Network.
Mandatory Link Criteria and Metrology Procedure
Horizon Power has received approval from the Economic Regulation Authority for the mandatory link criteria under Part 6 of the Electricity Metering Code.
The mandatory link criteria deals with the communication links required by metering installations so as to enable meters to be read from remote locations via telecommunication networks.
The following documents explain the Horizon Power's Mandatory Link criteria, Metrology Procedure for Meter Installations and the approval received from the Economic Regulation Authority.
